About Us

With an innate ability to form connections with animals and the Twin Cities community, company owner Megan Brainard was inspired to open her own full service grooming salon. As a mother of two young children and several rescued senior pets, Megan is compassionate and patient with all of her clients. She is well known for her friendly disposition and has over 20 years of experience in grooming elderly, matted and aggressive dogs and cats. 

 

For the past ten years, Megan’s passion has been carried out through her gentle and experienced team at both K-9 & Kitty Kutters locations. Her shops operate on the premise that all animals have unique needs and require specialized grooming care.

 

As fellow animal lovers, our team understands that grooming can be an overwhelming experience for your pet, that’s why we patiently work with our animals to ensure they are as comfortable as possible throughout the process. We are fully transparent about our grooming methods and have designed both of our locations to be open concept. Customers are welcome to view our practice to ensure that our clients are being treated with the proper care they require.
